Bespoke washroom cubicles designed, manufactured and installed for buildings where they take a hammering every single day.
Parents on an open evening, an inspector walking the site, a customer in a restaurant — the washroom is the room that tells them how the building is really run. It is also the room that gets the least attention until it becomes a problem.
School washrooms in particular take a level of use that domestic-grade fittings simply aren't built for. Doors get kicked, locks get forced, moisture gets everywhere, and MDF-cored panels swell at the bottom edge within a couple of years.
The answer is specifying for the environment rather than the price list: solid grade laminate where it's going to get wet and abused, anti-vandal ironmongery, and a system that can be repaired panel by panel rather than replaced wholesale.
We design, manufacture and install to suit each site — including accessible cubicles that meet current building and accessibility regulations rather than approximately meeting them.
We measure the room as built, including the out-of-square walls and the duct that isn't where the drawing says.
A layout that maximises cubicle numbers without breaking accessibility requirements, with the system and finishes agreed.
Made to the surveyed dimensions so panels fit the room rather than needing packing on site.
Strip-out and installation scheduled around your holidays, shutdowns or trading hours.
There's a large price gap between a standard melamine-faced cubicle system and solid grade laminate, and it isn't always worth paying. In a low-traffic office washroom, standard is fine and will last.
In a secondary school, a leisure centre or a busy bar, it won't — and the second refurbishment inside five years costs far more than the upgrade would have. We'll tell you which side of that line your building sits on.
Primary and secondary schools, academies and colleges. Offices and commercial premises. Bars, restaurants and hospitality venues. Leisure facilities and public buildings. Care homes and supported living.
Yes, and for schools it usually should be. A single washroom block is comfortably a holiday job. Larger multi-block programmes can be phased across successive holidays and we'll set that out at quote stage.
Yes. Accessible cubicles have specific requirements for turning space, transfer space, grab rail positions, door opening direction and ironmongery. We design to them rather than fitting a standard cubicle and adding a rail.
Usually. Most systems come in a wide standard range and we can often match or complement what's already there, which matters if you're refurbishing one block out of four.
They will be. That's why we survey and manufacture to the real dimensions rather than ordering a standard kit and packing out the gaps on site.
We can. Cubicles, IPS panelling, vanity units, sanitaryware, taps and dryers can all be included, or we can work around fittings you're keeping.
