Domestic & commercial
Composite doors, aluminium systems, PVCu windows and bifolds — supplied and fitted properly, with the making good included rather than left for someone else.

A window is only as good as the hole it sits in. Fitted badly, the best unit on the market will still draught, still let water track down the reveal, and still leave you with plaster to patch and a bead of silicone doing a job it was never meant to do.
Most of what goes wrong is invisible from the outside: no cavity closer, expanding foam used as the only seal, sills cut short so water runs behind rather than off, and internal reveals left for the customer to sort out.
We fit to the opening properly — packed and fixed square, sealed both sides, sills run long enough to throw water clear — and we make good afterwards. Plaster, decoration and the old frames taken away.
On commercial and school work there's a further layer: safety glazing where it's required, restrictors where they're needed, and doors that meet the escape and access requirements for the building rather than just looking the part.
Measured survey of every opening, plus a look at the reveals, lintels and sills that the price depends on.
Itemised by opening, with the specification stated so you can compare like for like against anyone else.
Old frames out, new units packed and fixed square, sealed inside and out.
Reveals plastered, decoration touched in, frames and glass taken away.
Window quotes are notoriously hard to compare because they rarely state the same things. Two prices for the same house can differ by thousands and both be honest — one includes making good and disposal, the other doesn't.
Ours states the frame system, the glazing specification, whether trickle vents are included, what happens to the old frames and what state the reveals are left in. If you're comparing us against someone else, those are the lines to look for on their quote too.
Homeowners and landlords across Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford and Leeds. Schools, offices and commercial premises needing replacement units, safety glazing or commercial entrance doors, fitted around occupation.
Yes, in almost every case. Fitting over or into an existing frame reduces the glass area, rarely seals properly and stores up problems. Removal and disposal is included in our price.
More than people expect on the day, less than they fear afterwards. Taking frames out disturbs plaster around the reveals, which is why making good is part of our quote rather than an extra.
Yes, with the openings made secure before we leave each day. Larger programmes are usually better done in the holidays and we'll say so if that's the sensible answer.
Current building regulations require background ventilation on most replacement windows. We include them and state it on the quote. If someone has quoted you without them, ask why.
Frames and glazing units carry the manufacturer's guarantee, and our installation is guaranteed separately. The periods are stated on your quote.
